Here is my Vladimir audition. I hope it is ok, I just wrote in then in 10 minutes because I have to go feed my horses now. Borgin and Burkes was respected for more reasons than it's dangerous location and proud collection of dark artefacts. It more than just a shop, it was an international mecca for anyone who wanted or needed a particular dark object. To have your name heading such a place guaranteed you a status and importance many in the Wizarding World could only dream about. For Vladimir Borgin, it was second nature; a way of life. An ingrained part of his being. For his entire life, he had grown up knowing and understanding the power wielded by those who understood and respected the dark arts. Lifting the cup of firewhiskey to his mouth, Vladimir took a long drink. Setting the cup down, he surveyed his shop and it's musty interior. Cursed Jewellery sat glinting in glass fronted cupboards, their veneers eerily inviting, an innocent looking chalice sat perched upon a many legged table, its simple looking facade in stark contrast to the painful death that would follow anyone stupid enough to drink out of it. Indeed it was a shop of dark and dangerous contents, and it took powerful control, and a broad understanding of the magic contained within that allowed Vladimir to manage it so successfully. Dusk was falling, and it was nearing the point of day where Vlad would close shop and perform the many intricate curses, charms and incantations that would ensure no living beings entry until he returned the next day. Already his wand was out, twirling aimlessly in his hand as his mind started to process all the spells he would have to cast. Setting his drink down, he stood, wand now ready in front of him, aimed at the northern wall of the shop. The words were on his lips, when suddenly there came a loud banging on the door, and a voice cried out in supplication.

The writing was great but I wonder if it would trouble you to have another go? To give us a better sense of the character. Maybe have him interacting with a customer? Or even just keeping what you have and adding to it where we could see personality in play.

Audition:
Rose Weasley stared anxiously at the Hogwarts Express train as it gave its final warning that it would be departing in ten minute's time. She'd waited for this moment for ages, and now that she'd finally had the chance that any child in the wizarding world waits for, a million things crossed her mind at once. Am I smart enough for Hogwarts? What if nobody likes me? Or worse, what if I get sorted into Slytherin? Papa would disown me... Though she knew her father mentioned the latter jokingly, her brain somehow convinced her that getting sorted into Slytherin was an actual issue. The worries travelling through the young girl's mind at a million thoughts a second halted as her father ruffled her hair and pulled her into his arms. She was sure he'd squeeze the breath right out of her as he muttered, "Now, Rosie. Don't you let anyone tell you who's boss. I know you've got your mother's brain and my..." Ron Weasley's voice trailed off as he actually seemed at a loss for words before adding, "My fighting abilities, I suppose. You know, I was the King--" "Now, Ron, that's enough." Her mother's voice chimed in and pulled the young ginger away from her father's bone-crushing embrace. "You're going to be all right, Rosie. Whatever happens, your father and I will always be proud." With that, she recieved a kiss on the forehead from both parents and a hug from her aunt and uncle before finally parting ways with them.
She made her way through the train and somehow lost track of Albus and James in the midst of students hurrying about to stash their belongings in in the overhead compartments and finding seats with their old friends. In addition to that, she'd always been quite small for her age, and so it had been easier for her to get lost among such a large crowd in the train's narrow runway. She made her way into a less populated area of the train and waited for the crowd to thin out before going to find her cousins once more, and as she did, a large student shoved her aside as he moved past her.
"Move it." Came the harsh baritone voice of the older boy. Slytherin, Rose immediately thought, and before she could control herself, she turned and replied sternly, "A 'please' wouldn't be so out of the ordinary, you inconsiderate troll!" She quietly thanked her upbringing; growing up with so many boys in her family was most likely to blame for her rash decision to snap at the boy. His deadly glare was enough to convince her that he wouldn't back down, "No one's taught you your place yet, have they, Red?"
Rose's reflexes moved faster than she could think as the boy charged toward her and she whipped her wand out. She'd learn enough spells from reading several of her textbooks twice-over, and was confident enough that it would work as she muttered the first charm that popped into her head and waved her wand. Clearly, she'd learned well as a jet of white sparks shot from the tip and the boy was on the floor in an instant, his body entirely paralyzed.
The petite girl swept a few ginger locks behind her ear and grinned innocelty down at the older boy, whose eyes were the only things able to move as they darted back and forth, and back toward her face. "It seems you've learned your place," she commented, heaving her trunk over the boy to prevent from crushing him. "I certainly hope for your own sake that your friends find you. It may be a bumpy ride, and quite long from what I've heard."

Name: Jordania Zarya Vaisey Alias(es): Jo, Jordy Age: Seventeen Birthdate: August 13, 2001 Heritage: Half Portuguese, Half German Blood Status: Pureblood Accent: Proper British, although it gains a definite Portuguese lilt when she’s stressed. Mother: Esmeralda Rosalinda DeFaria Cortez Father: Nikolai Boris Vaisey Sibling(s): Nathalia Katya Vaisey (Younger Sister) Best Friend(s): TBD Pet(s): Bitsy (Feline; Singapura) Current Residence: Vaisey Estate, in the south of England. Resides With: Parents and younger sister. Personality Trait(s): Strong-willed, Opinionated, Well-Mannered, Perfectionist, Loyal, Activist Height: 5’8” Complexion: Olive Hair Colour: Brown, with Honey Highlights. Eye Colour: Glasz. Overall Appearance and Personality: Jo is tall and thin, toned and curved in all the right places. She loves her hair, and is meticulous in caring for it. Strong-willed and boorish, she’s not one to let her opinion be slighted and put on the back burner. She’s willing to do whatever it takes to make her voice heard. However, she’s also diligent and respectful, making sure that whatever task she’s assigned is done perfectly, the first time. Jo isn’t one to overstep her boundaries. She knows her place, and although she knows what’s right and wrong, she understands that what she wants and what keeps her safe are two very different things. Jo’s main concern is the fact that she wants to make a change in the world. Whether it’s by dabbling in Mudblood Rights, or dealing with the Wizarding Homosexual Community - she doesn’t care, she just wants to help. Schooling: Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry Year: Seventh House: Ravenclaw Best Subject(s): Potions, Charms, Transfiguration, and Defense Against The Dark Arts. Worst Subject(s): Astronomy and Divinations Affiliation(s): Ravenclaw House; S.P.E.W {Mentor to Rose Weasley (to be double-checked with Rose)}
Merit(s): All O’s in her O.W.L.s {N.E.W.T.s have yet to be taken}; Prefect for Fifth and Sixth year; Candidate to be Head Girl (to be decided by mods) Wand: Rosewood, 12 Inches; Core of Love-In-Idleness; Unyielding Patronus: Stallion Boggart: A Cloud of Impenetrable Darkness. Amortentia: Petrichor, Old Books, and Beef Stew.
Audition: It was hard enough for the Vaisey family to go on holiday, what with two teenage females, as well as a beauty queen matriarch. But when it was time for Jordania and Nathalia to go to school, mayhem would erupt. Jordania, at this point, had developed a packing system. Clothes and haircare in one trunk, books and school necessities in a second, and things for Bitsy in a third. Jo would pack swiftly, and then sit and laugh as her sister would rush around, cramming whatever she could find into her trunks. Eventually, she would help, and the girls would be packing into the wee hours of the morning.
As they drove to King’s Cross this year, Jordania could feel something different in the air. Maybe she was high off the joy from her latest birthday - seventeen, the biggest year. Maybe she was getting a whiff of her sister’s newest perfume. She couldn’t be bothered to care. The tension in the car was palpable, and as they arrived at the station and gathered their belongings, Jo and Nathalia were swooped up into a hug by their mother. With promises to write, the girls were ushered off into the station, and sent on their way.
Jo kept close to Nathalia, a hand on her arm to make sure her flighty younger sister wouldn’t run off. They passed through the platform, and made their way towards the train. That is, until a man in black nearly ran them over, making his way back to the Muggle realm. The two saw a child staring after him, and Nathalia made a move to run over, Jo tugging on her arm. “Nat...don’t. He’s bad news.” But her sister paid her no mind, and went over to the younger boy, talking and flirting as she always did with the opposite sex.
Jo dropped off their carts, taking Bitsy’s carrier and making her way onto the train. She found a compartment with some friends, and she sat on the outside, waiting for Nathalia to pass by. As her sister did, Jo waved, but was greeted with little more than a nod. Jo felt the air shift around her sister, chills running down her spine. Now her sister was up to no good, and Jo felt as though there was little she could do to stop it.

Favorite Spot: Room of Requirement. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The war had ended over ninteen years ago and time seemed to have passed in the blink of an eye Ginny. It seemed like just yesterday she had been going back to the school to finish out her schooling and joining the Holyhead Hearpies, but here she was now, married to the man who had saved the whole wizarding world from Voldemort all those years ago. Not only was she married to Harry, they had welcomed three wonderful children into the world. The first two boys and their youngest, a girl. Ginny could not be happier with her life as it was now.
Drying her hands off on a towel, she tossed it on to the counter, moving towards the stairs. "James! Albus! Time to get up!" She called up to her sleeping children. Harry was out at the car getting their trunks packed with little Lily. Ginny had just finished cleaning up the mess she and Lily had made while perpered breakfast for the boys on their first day back to school. Turning her head towards the clock, she shook her head. "NOW boys! Or you will not have time to eat!" She called again. She did not know how they could still be asleep. She remember always being up before the sun when she was heading back to school. Going back to Hogwarts just felt right. It was her second home for many years.
Soon the ginger haired woman could hear the pounding of feet hitting the floor above her as her sons ran towards the stairs for food. "Boys." she mumbled at the thought of her six older brothers running towards the food in the morning hours. Fred. The thought of her lost brother saddened her greatly. That was something that still haunted her for time to time. Fred's lifeless body in the Great Hall, surrounded by the bodies of their friends. So many people had been lost.
Pushing the sad thoughts from her mind, Ginny turned to her two oldest children. "You two need to hurry and eat. Or you will miss the train. That's not a great way to start the new year. Now hurry." She said placing two plates in front of them. She smiled, kissing their heads as walked past them going to check on her husband.
"The car ready Harry?" She asked as she walked up to him, Lily laughing as she ran passed her parents into the house. Normally they would not take the car but when going into the muggle world, they tried to act as normal as they could without drawing attention to them. "Ron and Hermione are going to be waiting for us. We should not keep them waiting long. But your sons woke up late." She said teasing him, peeking a soft kiss to his cheek.
A half hour had passed before Ginny moved back to the stairs, calling for all three of the kids so that they could go to King's Cross to meet with Ron and Hermione. Ninteen years ago, it was the four of them going off to school, meeting at the Burrow a few days before and going off to school together, now it was their children's turn to find the magic that only Hogwarts can give.

After looking at your audition carefully we feel that though you have potential the role of Ginny in this time frame isn't suited for you. We do however hope you take an interest in another character, perhaps a student.

Audition for Catherine Burke
Catherine Burke held her head high as she arrived on the platform which was already crowded by students and their families seeing them off for the school year. Flipping her soft chocolate colored locks over her shoulder, pushed passed a group of first years just standing there, looking at the Hogwarts Express. “It’s just a train.” She mumbled looking through the crowd for anything of worth. That’s when she saw Damien. Forgetting about her parents, who had her school trunk and bag, she walked up behind her old friend placing a hand on his shoulder. “Miss me?” She asked with a soft, charming smile that she only used when needed. She had just seen Damien the night before at Borgin and Burkes. Catherine pulled her hand back so her friend could turn to face her. “We should get on the train so that we can get the best seats.” She liked sitting near a window and in a car with just others from her house. She did not want to get stuck sitting next to a Ravenclawn or worse, a Gryffindor. Looking over her shoulder, her bright blue eyes looked over the heads of students making their way to the train for her parents. “Get us a cabin. I’ll meet you in there.” Without waiting for him to reply, she was off to get her belongings. “Put my trunk on the train.” She spoke to her father knowing that he would do as she said. She got everything she wanted. It has always been that way. She would tell them she wanted something and she would get it. She took Handsome, her car from his holder to carry him with her. “I’ll try to write.” She said looking over her shoulder as she turned to walk away from them. She knew she would write but she always put finishing her school work first. After finishing up her goodbyes with her parents, Catherine walked into the great train, heading towards the front of the train where she knew she could find the rest of her house sitting. She looked into a few cabins until she found Damien. Sliding the door open, she placed Handsome on a seat and took the one next to the window. Leaning back into the seat as her cat took his place on her lap she looked over hearing the door slide open again. A ginger haired girl stood there, looking in. “Are you lost?” Catherine asked already knowing the girls parentage, her crystal colored eyes shone bright with fire at the fresh students to made bend at her will.

Writing Sample: Did he honestly believe he could trick his aunt into spilling the beans about the adult’s secret? Sort of. His Aunt Hermione had been the brightest witch in her year, true, but James was one of the best tricksters in his year. (Bertie being the only other person James deemed to be on the same, or higher, level of pranksterism as him.) He had talked his way out of hundreds of detentions and groundings in his short life of fifteen years. Well, more detentions than groundings, but that was beside the point! The point was that he was good at talking and getting what he wanted by doing so. James was sure that many people thought that his way of going about this was idiotic, but to him it was an art. By the way his aunt said the word ‘it’ he could predict that this was going to have to be a very carefully crafted art. His Aunt knew what he wanted which in itself made the task more difficult, but he didn’t need her to be blunt or exact in her words. He could get hints from the way she said things, the way she moved, or the way she looked at him. Just from the simple way she exaggerated the word ‘it’ James could already make himself a checklist of things. Yes, there was something that he wasn’t supposed to know. Yes, he wasn’t supposed to know about it. Yes, his Aunt knew. And by her smirk he could check another ‘Yes’ to the question of whether or not she underestimated him. Setting his elbows on the table and propping his chin on his folded hands the Gryffindor offered a smirk in return. He didn’t make the best marks in class, but James knew better than to think that high grades were what qualified someone as ‘smart’ or ‘clever’. Was what he was doing smart or clever? No, not really; not to James. Reading into someone’s word choice and body language wasn’t something the Potter thought difficult. Everyone knew how to do it to some extent; he just practiced it more often than most. “My life? It’s dandy. It’d be better with less exams, but McG never pays any mind to the ‘Ban-All-Exams’ petition I give her every year.” He shrugged and gave small sigh, feigning sadness as he drew his gaze downwards to the wooden table. “My life isn’t all that interesting. Except that it is, because it’s my life.” James dropped his possibly overly dramatic attempt at looking sad in exchange for his typical smirk, his eyes jumping back up to his Aunt’s face. “And your what about your life? It’s gotta be really interesting since it happened, yeah?” Pointing out what he wanted to know was obvious, he knew this, but what would he get from talking about his life? Besides, he didn’t like talking about his life, at least nothing beyond the basic things. Grades, Quidditch, friends, food, health; the safe kind of things. So keeping the subject on the subject was important. What was the worst thing his Aunt could do? Leave, maybe. But James figured his Aunt knew that would only make him more determined. She could always tell whoever told her not to tell him about this secret that he was snooping, but what would that do? It would depend on who she told. James felt a spark of realization with that idea. He could get so many more answers from who she told; not from the person, but from the action. He liked this idea. “OI!” James waved over to the waiter he had partially assaulted earlier, “Two Butter-Beers! I won’t let her knock them over this time!” The waiter looked between the Potter spawn and Hermione, silently questioning for a moment if James was joking. When the Gryffindor gave no other orders, the waiter proceeded to do his job now with a tighter grip on his tray. “So, as you were saying?” Notes: I'd like to change the play by to Logan Lerman

Writing Sample: Yellow and black. Who would pick those two colors? Honestly! Did Helga Hufflepuff want all of her students to look like little traffic signs roaming the hallways? She obviously didn’t think too much about how the Hufflepuff Quidditch team would look like either, because no one in their right mind would put anyone clad in black and yellow on a broomstick and let them zoom around a field! They looked like bumblebees! These were the thoughts that went through the blonde’s young teen mind as he all but ripped his mustard yellow and jet-black mix cloak off of his body and threw it onto his bed behind him. Lithe fingers instantly went to the offending colored tie that matched his cloak and continued to pull and yank the silk accessory from his neck only to toss it in the direction that he’d thrown his cloak. He had nothing against his house, minus its color scheme, but other than that he was quite proud to be a Hufflepuff! They were the unique, the different ones! The ones that didn’t fit in with the other houses, they were not non-conformist in his mind. Tavish wasted no more time, he quickly pulled off the rest of his school uniform and eagerly replaced them with a pair of dark close fitting jeans, a red graphic tee, a gray knit cardigan, and gray sneakers to match. There was nothing wrong with being stylish while at school, even though it meant that he had to carry twice the amount of luggage every time he left and came back to school. Taking a couple of steps back, Tavish looked himself over in the small group of mirrors arranged above the sinks in his dorm room. Turn left, right, all the way around…. With a smile and a small nod, he approved his choice of wear. He turned around and very quickly picked up his uniform, losing it momentarily in the sea of black and yellow that was his dorm. ---- “I live in a bee-hive…” Tavish muttered to himself as he exited his dorm and practically pranced down the stairway and out of the common room. He was happy to be out of his dreadful uniform that washed him out! Being finished with classes for the week added to his happy mood, too, but it was mostly owed to his lack of uniform. Making his way out of the castle he waved and smiled to a couple of third year girls from his Potions class and stopped to chat with them for a moment. They each complimented him on his attire, much to his liking, and he went on to tell them how much he adored their painted nails and their neatly combed hair. Picking up one of the girls hands he ran his soft, almost feminine, fingers over the glitter filled paint that covered her nails and gagged about how he wished he could do the same to his own nails. The girls giggled in return and offered to paint them for him, but he only laughed and waved them off as he continued on his way to the courtyard. It wasn’t that he was lying about wishing to be able to paint his nails. No. It was just too much of a risk for him. If one of the Professors thought it weird and decided to contact his parents…the blonde shook his head at the thought. Nail polish, as much fun as it would be to play with, was just too much for right now. Now outside in the courtyard, Tavish took in the massive student body that littered the grounds. He wasn’t too shocked, it was a Friday after all! Slipping over to the fountain, the Hufflepuff easily intermingled into the group of students. He could, and would, talk to anyone. Tavish was a very friendly person. “I know! He’s a third year, right? Ohmygod, do you think he’s into second years?” A soft, but excited voice gushed. ---- “Oh, I don’t know! I hope so! He’s so….mysterious. And he’s the son of a rock star! Not to mention he plays music which just makes him that much hotter!” Her friend equally gushed as they both broke into fits of giggles. Tavish couldn’t help but be curious after hearing such information. A mysterious, hot, musician at Hogwarts? He was down with that. Reaching a hand over, the boy tapped one of the girls on the shoulders, “Hai! I couldn’t help but overhear you two; who are you tal—.” Tavish didn’t get to finish his sentence before the striking music of a violin hit his ears. Blue eyes instantly shot towards the tree not too far away and zeroed in on the boy sitting under it. “…Oh.” There was no need to question the girls further, this was obviously the kid they had been talking about. He was dark looking, and it wasn’t just owed to the fact that he wore a grungy sort of style; he had a dark expression to him. It was almost…depressing, but in a beautiful kind of way. He reminded the bright blonde of a storm. Dark and shocking, but beautiful to watch. “He’s a dream!” One of the second year girls said, “But he’s kinda rude…We think he’s just playing hard to get.” --- Or maybe he just doesn’t like gushing girls, Tavish thought as he kept his eyes on the boy, but playing the violin like that in the middle of a hoard of girls isn’t going to help his case. “He’s the son of one of the members of the Weird Sisters! Sexy, huh?” That explains the musician part, he thought as he stood up and left the gushing girls at the fountain. People dressed like this guy were usually the kind of people Tavish avoided, they were typically very violent and rude for no reason, but this guy…he looked kind of lonely. Maybe it was his dark appearance, but Tavish was willing to take the chance. Coming to stand behind the dark teen, he stopped to listen to the music that he pulled from the instrument in his hands. It was something striking, like lightening, yet seducing. It gave him a mental image of a ballet based on the Nightmare On Elm Street movies. When the music started hitting softer notes Tavish decided this was his best chance. “How long have you played the violin?” He started as he moved around the teen so that he was standing in front of him, “You’re really good.” He smiled and kneeled down so that he was on the same level with the brunette. Boy did this kid have some bright eyes… “It’s really different, kinda scary, but in a good way! I wish I was talented in music, it’s so cool!” He continued, excitement and curiousity was evident in his light toned voice. “I’m Tavish Corner, by the way!” Tavish grinned brightly and held out his hand, his blue eyes locked onto blue before letting them travel over the other’s attire. “So…Did you rip those or did you buy them like that? Because I know that you can buy clothes all ripped up like that now, but sometimes you never know! They fit you well!” The boy gave a short laugh, his hand still held out towards the darker teen. This could either go really bad or alright. Tavish was rooting for the latter of the two.

I am auditioning for Ginny Weasley Tuesday afternoon classes were always hell for Ginny Weasley. First right after lunch fourth year Gryffindor’s had to take Ancient Ruins with the Ravenclaw fourth years. Not only was ancient the most boring class at Hogwarts but Ravenclaw always took any chance of the Gryffindor’s shining. Well, in all reality Ravenclaw always took the chance of anyone shining when it came to academics. The only solace Ginny found in Ancient Ruins was the fact that she knew Gryffindor could whip Ravenclaw when it came to the Quidditich Pitch. Then to top off Ginny’s day was Defense Against the Dark Arts with the awful Professor Umbridge and Slytherin. It was always a horrible lesson and Ginny never learned anything, let alone how to defend herself against any sort of thing other than books. Her mind often drifted away from the lesson within the first minute of class. But it was better for Ginny that way mostly because when she drifted off she didn’t have to sit and watch every one of her fellow classmates hate their lives or in Slytherins case, brown nose to the abnormally bad professor. Being done with classes for Tuesday was the highlight of most of Ginny’s weeks for school the year. Normally Ginny loved everything about Hogwarts but with Umbridge around, it was almost unbearable to be in school. It was particularly annoying that she was being given more and more power over everyone. As Ginny left another ‘practical’ lesson of Defense against the Dark Arts all she wanted to do was leave Hogwarts. But of course, her pride, and her mother, made sure she wouldn’t. She really did love it here; she just hated everything about this year. Along with the masses of students Ginny walked to the great hall, book bag in tow, it was time for some food and she couldn’t wait. She could already feel and hear her stomach grumbling; apparently all that boredom had taken a lot out of her. It came as a surprise to Ginny that as she entered the Great Hall, she found Harry Potter sitting alone. It wasn’t even necessarily that he was all that popular, but the least she expected was Hermione and Ron to be around him somewhere. But looking around the pair were nowhere in sight. Ginny decided no one should eat alone and she walked up to the table across from him with a small smile on her face. Pushing her red hair out of her face Ginny said “Mind if I join you?” not waiting for answer as she put her bag down next to her and sat down across from Harry. She had begun putting food on her plate when she looked up at Harry again and said, “Where’s Ron and Hermione? Or did you just want to be alone to plan a super-secret D.A. meeting?” Ginny smiled as she gave a small laugh. While the audition was good, we're looking to see how you will be portraying Ginny in the RPG's time frame (2018). I hope this does not inconvenience you in any way.
