x Considered pure-blood. Most of her magical blood-line comes from the Meliflua's whose most noted member was Araminta Meliflua(canon) who once tried to get the Ministry of Magic to pass a law that would make Muggle-hunting legal. However, the magical line was severed for two generations. Artie's father was the first born to be considered pure-blood again after careful breeding which continued with his forced union with Paulette Nguyen--a pure-blooded witch who attended Beauxbatons. As well as a purist blood transfusion during it's early years of trials.
x Her parents aren't as close with each other as most parents should be. They married each other out of obligation rather than love. It's because of this that Artie holds a strong opinion on the fact that people should be together because they want to/love each other not because they have to or it's what's expected of them.
x She takes after her mother, greatly. However, like her father she can be distant and can sometimes make bad decisions-- still, she doesn't see these traits as something to be proud of.
x Jayda had always been the one person she wanted to get close to. Her sister had ended up becoming her father's prize. Excelling in her dueling and being merciless even when she was against Artie(duels their father forced them into to better themselves). Jayda became an assassin, out to kill the most important muggles in the name of the dark lord.
x Because her toughest opponent had always been her sister(someone who radiated violent offense), Artie became an amazing defender. Her skill and knowledge with defensive magic and long range attacks are very impressive. It was a skill that eventually got her recruited for the law enforcement squad.
X She's willing to go to great lengths to bring a baddie to jail. That includes going undercover or endangering herself greatly.
X A Hit Wizard or Hit Witch is a highly trained member of the Magical Law Enforcement Squad, tasked with arresting dangerous criminals. A team of Hit Wizards arrested Sirius Black in 1981 when he was thought to have murdered Peter Pettigrew and twelve Muggles.
